Back in 2008 I expressed my thoughts on the spiritual nature of Bob Marley's Music on the Eckhart Tolle forum. Much of that could be expanded upon to include events today and I have considered for some time about presenting my feelings on his Music here but always had so much else to focus on of my own work. On hearing more about Lockdown 3 last night this song of Bob's came into my mind and I feel compelled to share my views on his Music and how it relates to today's world because his Music is very important to humanity and contains lots of clues and signposts to help us navigate out of this mess.
Them crazy, them crazy
We gonna chase those crazy
Baldheads out of town;
Chase those crazy baldheads
Out of our town.
I'n'I build a cabin
I'n'I plant the corn
Didn't my people before me
Slave for this country?
Now you look me with that scorn
Then you eat up all my corn
We gonna chase those crazy
Chase them crazy
Chase those crazy baldheads out of town!
[Scat singing]
Build your penitentiary, we build your schools
Brainwash education to make us the fools
Hate is your reward for our love
Telling us of your God above
We gonna chase those crazy
Chase those crazy bunkheads
Chase those crazy baldheads out of the town!
[Instrumental break]
We gonna chase those crazy
Chase those crazy bunkheads
Chase those crazy baldheads out of the town!
Here comes the conman
Coming with his con plan
We won't take no bribe
We've got to stay alive
We gonna chase those crazy
Chase those crazy baldheads
Chase those crazy baldheads out of the town
This song could've been written about Chris Whitty, Patrick Vallance and all that lot. Baldheads is a Rasta term used to describe "system people". People who support and work for the system like robots, completely programmed in and knowingly or unknowingly work against humanity.
Not to disrespect the black slavery angle that is clearly there in Bob songs like these but the lines about building schools and slaving for this country could equally apply to where we are now in Britain and most other countries. The very people - ordinary individuals - who worked hard to make places like Britain thrive are now finding themselves thrown on the scrapheap, struggling whilst those making these decisions "eat up all the corn".
I bolded the section "Here comes the conman..." because that section could easily be describing what is going on with this "pandemic" and the solutions they are offering.
